Mindfulness in Relationship - Advanced Course

Course Description

The Advanced Diploma course is intended to build on the basic theory and practice of mindfulness within psychotherapeutic practice developed during either the Foundation Course or the Diploma in Mindfulness in Relationship.

Course participants develop both experiential and theoretical understandings of two major territories.  The first is that of shock and trauma, the second of pre- and peri-natal experiences and conditioning.  This continues to be supported by individual, small group and large group enquiry.  The theories of Lake, Fairbairn and Winnicott are explored in support of this early formative territory.  Mindfulness practice within the relational field continues to be the fulcrum for the learning at an embodied level.

This, along with the Foundation or Diploma in Mindfulness in Relationship will be of interest to therapists in many fields of practice including psychotherapy, counselling, practitioners of complementary and orothdox medicine, body-oriented therapists such as Craniosacral Therapy, and mindfulness-based practitioners in general.
