A Personal Workshop with William R. Emerson, Ph.D.
The Prenatal Journey: Healing Prenatal Wounding and the Reclamation of
Spirit
The
prenatal period has been described by many experts in the field as the
template for life. Such it is. Renowned mentors such as European
embryologist Dr. Blechschmedt, American osteopath Dr. Stone, European
psychiatrists RD Laing and Frank Lake, and Canadian psychiatrist Tom Verny
led the paradigm shift in the late 1900's, and late American pioneers like
Emerson, Sills, Castellino, and others are evolving the work. In small
groups Emerson and Sills lead journeys into the prenatal period to help
participants discover and heal major life traumas, and integrate life
changes. Participants report life transformations and understandings, and
experience individuation (freedom from symptoms, access to true self, and
personal access to spirituality). Emerson differentiates 21 stages of
development from conception to birth, all with major life impacts,
psychological agendas and wounds. Each have healing techniques, approaches,
and rituals that provide the potential for real and tangible change.
Spiritual, personal and relational growth are common outcomes.
