The Heart Sutra in Buddhism is central in the Mahayana tradition and unfolds both a way of being and a key to reveal the wondrous and noble aspects of our humanbeingness.
"Form is Emptiness and Emptiness is Form".
Therefore one should know the prajnaparamita as "the great spell" – Gate, gate paragate, parasamgate, bodhi svaha – Gone, Gone, Gone Beyond, Gone Altogether Beyond, O What an Awakening, All Hail.
During this short Retreat we will spend much of the day in silent practice but hold periods of collective enquiry. We will draw from the practices that establish the field of the Brahma Vihara that can hold our individual, joint and group enquiry into the nature of the Heart Sutra.
Maura will offer meditational, relational field practices, meditation instruction, talks and individual interviews. Space and time to deepen into our "truer nature".
Thich Nhat Hahn – "What is emptiness empty of? It is empty of separateness".
