This 4-year course is an in-depth training in Core Process Psychotherapy that combines mindfulness practice and joint enquiry and leads to full professional qualifications and accreditation. This training supports a particularly integrated immersion in the work and practice of Core Process Psychotherapy.

Building on the base developed in the prerequisite foundation training, it presents a mindfulness-based form of psychotherapy, which assumes inherent health within all aspects of experience. The course offers a profound opportunity to investigate in depth the nature of suffering and to develop capacities of compassion and wisdom in relationship.

The process of offering a contemplative approach to psychotherapy is facilitated through lectures and skills practice within the context of personal, interpersonal and group enquiry. Given that this Training emphasises the fundamental interconnectedness of our individual experience, one major learning vehicle comprises developing the skills to enquire jointly into relationship itself at depth. The training group learns to cultivate and deepen awareness as a primary psychotherapeutic and transformational tool. The taught component of this course comprises three years. Students begin to see clients in the second year.
